  5. Do you have a general interest in, or sympathy for, wildlife habitat conservation and or environmental issues? (you don’t need to be an expert or specialist!)

  7. Are you fluent in English?
  8. Are you aware that the work, earnings (beyond the hourly rate) and sometimes the hours from this job can be unpredictable?
  9. If you are claiming benefits of any kind, have you seriously considered how earnings from this job will affect your entitlements?
  10. Do you have an outgoing, good-humoured, optimistic nature?
  11. Are you self-motivated and self-sufficient, and do you enjoy a challenge?
  12. Are you organised enough to manage your own time and undertake elementary paperwork?
  13. Can you work on your own, from your home base, without immediate colleagues and without close supervision from a “boss”?
  14. Are you open minded – and able to deal with a wide variety of people and situations without prejudice?
  15. Are you OK with dogs? (we ask, because meeting dogs is an inevitable part of house-calling)
